When an RFI is sent, the Ball & Court automatically goes to the assignee, indicating they need to provide an answer.
Once the assignee responds, the Ball & Court shifts back to the RFI manager, notifying them that a response is ready for review.
As the RFI manager, you can manually override the Ball & Court assignment to keep the RFI process moving.
Manually Reassigning the Ball & Court
You can reassign the Ball & Court to another user at any time.
For example, before officially closing an RFI, you might shift the ball back to the assignee for final confirmation.
This ensures everyone knows exactly who needs to act next.
