How to add an external user

Add external users, like subcontractors, architects, and engineers, to grant access to your StruXure site.

Add the Company

  1. Go to Directory.

  2. Click the Companies tab.

  3. Click New Company.

  4. Fill out the company information.

Add the User

  1. Go to Settings and click Users.

  2. Click the External Users tab.

  3. Click New User.

  4. Select the company you created.

  5. Enter the user's name and email address.

  6. Confirm that Default Project Access is set to the appropriate permission profile (e.g. subcontractor, architect).

    Note: Avoid giving external users organization access.

  7. Choose one:

    • Click Send Invite to immediately email the user.

    • Click Save to save the user and send the invite later.
